Peabody offices and repair reporting arrangements are working normally this week but will be closed on 24th December and will re-open on Wednesday 2nd January 2013.
Emergency repairs over the holiday period can be reported on the usual telephone numbers: 0800 022 4040 (free from landlines) or 020 7021 4444.
Peabody expect the number of repair calls to be high when offices re-open on 2nd January and calls will be answered from 8am.
Peabody’s Welfare Benefits Team are holding a ‘drop-in’ session next week to advise tenants on the Government’s proposed changes to all aspects of welfare reform.
This ‘drop-in’ session will be held in the Tenants’ Hall next Wednesday, 12th December between 10am – 4pm.
In addition to discussing how the proposed changes might affect tenants on our estate, Peabody staff will also be able to offer support and advice to existing claimants who are having problems with a benefit or tax credit claim.
