Changes to Estate Managers areas of responsibility

Peabody have made some changes to the areas managed by housing staff on our estate.as well as on the other ex-Crown Estate properties.

Not every block is affected and the Cumberland Market Estate details, with the name of the Estate Manager who will manage each block, is set out below:

Loft Insulation Works / Cleaning in Swinley House

Peabody will be carrying out loft insulation works to the following blocks which will help to keep flats warmer and (hopefully) reduce heating bills!
 
Ascot House; Bagshot House; Camberley House; Datchet House; Richmond House; Swinley House; Windsor House..

Tintern House and Gardner House have flat roofs and so won’t require insulation.

Peabody are planning to start works on the 29th October and the works are programmed to finish at the beginning of February 2013. Prior to starting works on a block, Peabody will put posters up at each level and they will send letters to top floor flats explaining what they intend to do.

Swinley House – following the replacement of bathrooms in Swinley House, the Residents Association requested that a thorough ‘deep clean’ was carried out to the block and immediate communal area as this wasn’t included in the original specification. These works will be carried out soon but an exact date has not yet been set.

Public meeting to discuss High Speed Rail (HS2) proposals – open to anyone living on our estate

A public information meeting about the proposed High Speed Two (HS2) rail link and how it will affect our local area will be held in St Pancras Parish Church, Euston Road (opposite Euston Fire Station) 7pm – 8.30pm (refreshments available from 6.30pm) on Thursday 25th October.

This meeting is an opportunity for local people affected by the HS2 proposals to catch up on the latest plans and to discuss possible alternatives.

This meeting is open to anyone living or working in the Regent’s Park ward

Estate inspections of cleaning & communal repairs

Dates have been set for this month’s block inspections to look at the standard of cleaning, communal repairs and the general appearance of the estate.

Each month, Peabody staff and representatives of the Residents’ Association (RA)  inspect the estate and the RA would like to open up the invitation for other tenants to take part.

The dates / times of this month’s inspections are:

10am, Tuesday 23rd October – inspections of: Ascot House; Gardner House; Richmond House; Swinley House; Tintern House

10am, Friday 26th October – inspections of Bagshot House; Camberley House; Datchet House; Windsor House.
